Our Advanced Water Softener uses ion exchange technology to remove calcium (Ca⊃2;⁺) and magnesium (Mg⊃2;⁺) ions from water, replacing them with sodium ions, and thus reducing water hardness. This process helps protect your plumbing, appliances, and water systems from the harmful effects of scaling. The system is particularly effective in areas with high iron content, reducing iron levels for clearer and more purified water. Additionally, it helps prevent scale buildup, rust staining, and corrosion in water pipes and industrial equipment.


The regeneration process uses a higher concentration of sodium chloride solution (brine) to restore the softening capacity of the resin, ensuring continuous softening without manual intervention.

Water Softer Operating Priciple


The hardness of water is mainly composed of cations: calcbdbe80b31bc4949660dccff10ed16e4ium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. When raw water containing hardness passes through the resin layer of the exchanger, calcium and magnesium ions in the water are adsorbed by the resin, and sodium ions are released at the same time. In this way, the water flowing out of the exchanger is the softened water with hardness ions removed. When the resin adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions to a certain degree of saturation, the hardness of the water increases. At this time, the water softener will automatically carry out the regeneration work of the failed resin according to the predetermined procedure, and use a higher concentration of sodium chloride solution (brine) through the resin to restore the failed resin to sodium resin.

Working process


  • Water Production: Water flows through the system, where the resin adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions, softening the water.

  • Backwashing: The system reverses water flow to clean and dislodge debris and impurities from the resin bed, ensuring effective regeneration.

  • Salt Absorption (Regeneration): Sodium chloride solution (brine) is used to restore the resin’s ion-exchanging capacity, replacing calcium and magnesium ions with sodium ions.

  • Slow Rinsing: The system gently rinses the resin bed with water to remove any remaining brine, preparing the resin for normal operation.

  • Fast Rinsing: The system quickly rinses the resin bed to ensure that any remaining impurities or brine are thoroughly flushed out, ensuring clean, soft water for use.
