Product Description
This 2 tons per hour ultrapure water system adopts the combined process of two‑stage RO reverse osmosis + EDI electrodeionization + mixed‑bed polishing treatment. It deeply removes salts, colloids, organic matter and microorganisms from water to produce high‑purity ultrapure water. Equipped with fully‑automatic PLC control system and skid‑mounted integrated design, it features easy installation & commissioning and stable water quality, meeting strict standards for industrial ultrapure water.
Process: Raw Water → Pretreatment → 1st‑stage RO → 2nd‑stage RO → EDI → Mixed Bed → Ultrapure Water Outlet
Raw Water → Multi‑media Filter → Activated Carbon Filter → Security Filter → 1st‑stage High‑pressure Pump → 1st‑stage Reverse Osmosis → Intermediate Water Tank → 2nd‑stage High‑pressure Pump → 2nd‑stage Reverse Osmosis → EDI Inlet Tank → EDI Electrodeionization Module → Mixed‑bed Polishing Treatment → Ultrapure Water Tank → Water Consumption Point
Multi‑media Filter: Filled with quartz sand filter media, removes sediment, rust, large suspended solids and colloids to reduce raw water turbidity. Automatic back‑wash function regenerates filter media and extends service life.
Activated Carbon Filter: High‑quality shell‑based activated carbon adsorbs residual chlorine, partial organic substances, color and odor. Protects RO membrane from oxidation damage. Supports automatic back‑washing.
Security Filter: 5μm PP melt‑blown filter cartridge intercepts fine particulate impurities, preventing particles from entering high‑pressure pump and RO membranes, serving as final protection for reverse osmosis system.
Pretreated raw water is pressurized by the first‑stage high‑pressure pump and fed into RO membrane assembly. Through membrane sieving effect, most inorganic salts, colloids, bacteria, microorganisms and macromolecular organics are removed. Most salts are discharged with concentrated water, and permeate flows to intermediate tank. Salt rejection rate reaches above 97%, providing low‑TDS influent for secondary RO. Auto‑flush function reduces membrane fouling.
Permeate from first‑stage RO enters intermediate tank, then pressurized by secondary high‑pressure pump to second‑stage RO membrane set. Further removes residual soluble salts and small‑molecule organics. Conductivity of RO permeate drops significantly to reduce EDI load and ensure long‑term stable EDI performance. Concentrated water can recycle back to pretreatment to improve water recovery rate. Online conductivity meter monitors effluent quality of secondary RO.
Permeate from two‑stage RO flows into EDI module. EDI is continuous electrodeionization equipment combining ion‑exchange resin and electrodialysis. Under DC electric field, anions and cations migrate directionally to produce high‑purity water continuously. Unlike traditional ion exchange, EDI needs no acid‑base chemical regeneration, no waste acid/alkali discharge for eco‑friendly operation. Online resistivity monitoring for EDI outlet water.
EDI effluent goes through mixed‑bed for final polishing treatment. Tank filled with well‑mixed cation‑anion exchange resin removes trace residual ions. It raises outlet resistivity stably up to 15‑18.2MΩ·cm for ultrapure‑water standard. Resin can be taken out for off‑line regeneration after exhaustion. As final polishing barrier, it offsets water quality fluctuation of raw water.
Integrated PLC & touch‑screen control, equipped with pressure sensors, online conductivity & resistivity meters. Realizes auto start‑stop, membrane auto‑flush, filter auto back‑wash. Built‑in protections for high/low pressure, water shortage and overload; water‑quality abnormality alarm & fault‑code display. Visual running data lowers manual operation workload.
Product Advantages
Multi‑purification process of two‑stage RO + EDI + mixed‑bed. Resistivity keeps stable against raw‑water fluctuation, consistently producing qualified high‑purity ultrapure water.
Whole unit pre‑assembled on stainless‑steel frame and pre‑tested in factory. Only water & power connection required on‑site, shortening construction period and lowering installation cost.
PLC touch‑screen control with real‑time online monitoring for conductivity, resistivity and pressure. Auto flushing, fault alarm and overload protection reduce manual attendance.
Key wetted components adopt 304/316 stainless‑steel for pipelines & membrane housings. Suitable for long‑term continuous industrial working conditions with low maintenance cost.
