1. Product Introduction

The 8TPH brackish water reverse osmosis system is an integrated RO water treatment solution developed by Kaiyuan Water Treatment for deep well brackish water and high-TDS surface water. Its rated production capacity is 8 cubic meters per hour. The complete unit is equipped with FRP pre-treatment tanks (quartz sand filter + activated carbon filter), automatic control valves, dosing system, high-pressure pump, RO membrane modules and electric control cabinet. It runs fully automatically to remove salt, heavy metals, colloids, suspended solids, bacteria and microorganisms from raw brackish water, turning unqualified brackish water into standard process water or domestic water.

This is a skid-mounted modular system. All pipes and components are pre-assembled and tested in our factory. On-site installation only requires connection of raw water inlet, drain pipe and power supply. It features short installation cycle and easy maintenance, and is a preferred option for medium & small brackish water desalination projects worldwide.

2. Product Description

Process Flow

Raw water booster pump → Quartz sand filter (remove sediment & rust) → Activated carbon filter (remove residual chlorine, organics, color & odor) → Anti-scalant dosing system → Cartridge security filter → RO high pressure pump → RO membrane assembly → Permeate water tank

Key Configuration & Features

• Pre-treatment tanks: FRP tanks with automatic RUNXIN valves, automatic backwash and regeneration, minimum manual operation;
• RO Membrane: Industrial brackish water RO membranes, stable salt rejection and good fouling resistance;
• High pressure pump: Vertical stainless steel high-pressure pump, stable performance and low noise;
• Skid frame: 304 stainless steel skid, corrosion resistant, suitable for outdoor and coastal high-salt environments;
• Control system: PLC touch screen control, real-time monitoring of conductivity, pressure and flow rate, high/low pressure protection and auto start-stop;
• Piping: Industrial UPVC piping, corrosion & pressure resistant, avoid secondary pollution.

Optional Upgrades

According to water quality requirements, we can add EDI module, mixed bed, UV sterilizer, water tank and VFD raw water system. 316 stainless steel piping is available for corrosive raw water.

• Raw water temperature: 5~40℃;
• Raw water SDI＜5, Turbidity＜1NTU, Residual chlorine＜0.1ppm.

Note: Final water quality depends on the customer’s raw water test report. We will select suitable membrane and pre-treatment scheme accordingly.

8. Export Packaging & Delivery Information

Marine Export Packaging Standard

The whole system is packed separately to avoid damage and moisture corrosion during ocean shipment:

• Main skid unit: Wrapped with waterproof film + bubble wrap, packed into IPPC fumigated wooden export crate (IPPC mark meets customs fumigation requirements);
• FRP tanks: Separately protected with bubble wrap & corner guards, fixed on wooden frame to prevent cracking;
• Accessory kit (seals, spare filters, tools, chemical samples): Packed into independent waterproof carton;
• Electric control box: Separate moisture-proof package with desiccant inside to avoid short circuit by sea moisture.

Production & Shipment Schedule

Lead time for standard 8TPH brackish water RO system: 20-30 working days. Customized solutions will be quoted separately. We can deliver cargo to Guangzhou or Shenzhen port, support LCL and FCL sea shipment. Every unit will be fully water pressure tested before delivery, with factory test report and spare parts list provided.
